I'm New Here... What Can I Expect?
Welcome! Church service occurs each Sunday at 10:30 AM (9:00 AM in the summer). When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by a friendly person who can answer any questions you might have.
On Sundays we begin by keeping families together. Our singing blends hymns and worship songs, played by a small band. Songs contain biblically inspired words to complement the sermon’s topic.
After singing, we will read the Bible, followed by prayer and announcements. Children 4 and under are dismissed to the nursery during this time. A nursery worker will show you where to go and how to sign in. All our childcare workers have passed the state criminal background check. Our childcare policies are available in writing if you wish.
On the last Sunday of the month, we dismiss children up to about third grade for Children’s Church. Bible stories and memorizing verses are emphasized. Friendship is encouraged.
Pastor David Hammond speaks next. His sermons explore a portion of Scripture, usually as part of a series that covers a book of the Bible. Teaching and explaining concepts are his strength.
Prayer and celebrating the Lord’s Supper (“Communion”) concludes the service. You will rejoin any young children and meet and greet our church family on your way out. Refreshments are available every week. We want to know you better and encourage you in your life.
